Available for both domestic and international candidates.
The scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney’s Research Training Program (RTP) stipend $36,529/per annum, for up to 3 years with a possible six months extension
Academic tuition fees and the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF) are not covered by this scholarship for an international recipient.

About you

The suitable candidate will display the following background, skills and experience:

have an unconditional offer of admission for full-time studies in a PhD within the University of Sydney Law School
be willing to undertake research in the discipline of legal theory
hold at least one of the following degrees in Law:
a Bachelor’s degree with first class honours, or
a Master of Laws by Research, or
a Master of Laws by Coursework at a High Distinction or Distinction level including a research component equivalent to 25% of one year’s full-time enrolment.

Note: current PhD students may apply but preference will be given to commencing applicants.
