About the role

This is a key role in the newly formed Education Services team (Digital and Learning Innovation). The Service will provide an expert environment in which education design, delivery, and continuous improvement enables delivery of the University’s research-inspired Education Strategy. It will bring together quality assurance and enhancement and place equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our approach. .

In this role, you will provide specialist expertise to senior Education Services staff to support the development and effective use of digital and learning technologies, ensuring the use of learning technologies enhances the curricula and the learning and teaching experience of staff and students. You will act as an advocate for the appropriate use of learning technologies to support the design of inclusive programmes that give all our students the opportunity to succeed, whatever their background.About you

You will be educated to first-degree level with experience of creating digital learning objectives and using and informing the development of online learning environments. You must have excellent knowledge of a range digital learning technologies, digital learning pedagogies, curriculum design principles and the higher education environment.

We are looking for someone with effective relationship building, negotiation and persuasion skills, who is experienced in working collaboratively with academic staff and professional services colleagues. You will be required to manage your own workload so must be experienced in planning, organising and problem solving to ensure you can deliver in line with service objectives and customer needs. You will also be a confident communicator and presenter, with experience of designing, delivering and evaluating training.Additional information
