- The Colombia Government Scholarships are open to applicants without Colombian nationality.
- not having established residence or begun graduate studies in Colombia.
- Neither the Beca Colombia program nor any other international ICETEX scholarship program has awarded them a scholarship.
- not be more than fifty years old.
- You must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 to be eligible for the announcement. According to each country’s grading system, the grade must be at least 4.0 on the Colombian scale. A postgraduate average cannot be used.
- possess an undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree in any field of study.
- possess B2-level proficiency in the Spanish language. The scholarship recipient must pass a B2 level DELE or SIELE exam if they are not native Spanish speakers.
- possess acceptance to a minimum of one or a maximum of three graduate programmes listed in the 2020 Academic Offer Catalogue that is attached to this notice.
- possess excellent bodily and mental health, as attested by a physician.
